What is a kokedama?
Kokedama is a Japanese technique in which the traditional plant pot is replaced by a ball of moss. The resulting type of plant is called kokedama.
How do I water my kokedama?
Watering a kokedama is easy and fun. It is watered by immersion. The steps to follow are:
How often do I have to water my kokedama?
The frequency depends on the type of plant and the season of the year.
- Group 1: Ficus Ginseng, Pachira, other green plants and, in general, most kokedama: Water every 4 days in summer and once a week in winter.
- Group 2: Cacti and Succulents: Water once every 2 weeks in summer and every 3 weeks in winter.
Tip: If in addition to watering the plant, you keep the moss moist with a spray of water, it will be better off.
How do I water a potted plant?
In general they are watered once a week. Succulents and cacti, once every three weeks. The substrate should always be slightly moist. Put your finger 2 centimeters into the mineral substrate. If the substrate is dry, it is time to water.
Where do I place my kokedama or potted plant?
Most plants require light but not direct light. However, look for the characteristics and needs of your plant and you can be sure it will be nice and happy.
How do I water my garden in a bowl?
It's easy. Open bowl gardens are watered once a week. If the garden is a succulent or cactus garden, it should be watered every 3 weeks. To do this, spray the base with water, trying not to wet the leaves excessively. The gardens in a closed bowl should be watered in the same way but only once a year. They have to be placed in a place where they receive light but in an indirect way.

When will it arrive?
When you decide. When you place your order, you can choose the delivery date. The delivery is made during the day you have chosen.
What happens if there is no one at the delivery address at that time?
No problem. The carrier will leave a message and will contact you to arrange a new delivery that same day. If you prefer, you can also pick up your order at the carrier's office. We will be happy to provide you with the tracking number and address.
How can I know the status of my order?
It's very easy. Send us an email to info@omotesandoplants.com and we will let you know. We will also send you the tracking number of your shipment so you can know the status of your order at all times.
What do I do if the order does not arrive with the quality I expected?
Our priority is to give you an excellent service and that you receive your order in perfect conditions. If this is not the case, because there has been a problem in the transport (it happens very rarely) take a picture of the product and send us an email to info@omotesandoplants.com. We will give you a quick answer and solve the problem.
Do you ship abroad?
Yes! We ship potted plants to most countries in the world. Prices will vary depending on the destination country. Send us a message to info@omotesandoplants.com and we will send you a quote.
